George and I were talking the other day and we wished we had chosen a different name for the boat. We chose ENDEAVOR because it really defined the massive challenge we chose to face, and we knew it was going to take us literally and figuratively someplace big. The definitions for Endeavor include; to try hard to do or achieve something, serious determined effort, activity directed toward a goal, & ernest and industrious effort sustained over a period of time. The name also has a solid and imposing nautical history, and maybe that is why it feels wrong. Most days at the marina and on the water I think we don’t feel like we can live up to the name. Maybe someday we will, but I really did like the ring of Chickadee or Kestrel. They would have attached so much less pressure to our Endeavor. 🙂

FLASHBACK to APRIL 2022
Spending the week in Bellingham doing big boat projects. This evening is dreamy and the boat is a wreck! It all balances out.
